Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Vivimate OÜ (trading as Vivimate) uses cookies and similar technologies on vivimate.io and panel.vivimate.io. It tells you what we set, why we set it, how long it lasts, and how to refuse it. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator.

Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them). They can be set by the website you are visiting (“first-party cookies”) or by third-party services the website uses (“third-party cookies”).

2. What Cookies We Use

We use three categories of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Optional cookies are only set with your consent.

🔒

Strictly Necessary

A baseline set that the storefront and the customer panel rely on to run. Turning them off breaks the site. They carry no direct identifiers and exist purely to power the platform basics (sign-in state, request integrity, consent memory).

📊

Analytics Cookies

Opt-in tooling that surfaces aggregate patterns: which pages get the traffic, how long the average reader sticks around, where that traffic originates. The figures are anonymised in aggregate. Google Analytics drops these only after you accept, and IP anonymisation runs on top.

💳

Payment & Functional

Dropped by Stripe through the checkout journey to guard against payment fraud and to bind your payment session. They only exist while a purchase is mid-flight and clear when the session ends.

3. How to Control Cookies

You have several options for controlling cookies:

  • Cookie consent banner

A consent banner greets every fresh visit. The opt-in for optional analytics cookies is made there. Your decision can be revisited any time using the "Cookie Settings" link sat in the footer.

  • Browser settings

Each browser ships its own control surface for blocking or clearing cookies. Removing the strictly necessary set will break the site. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and every other major browser hide the toggle inside privacy settings.

  • Google Analytics opt-out

Google publishes a browser add-on that blocks GA across every website in one go. Pick it up from the Google opt-out page (search for "GA opt-out browser add-on"). Once installed, the GA tracker simply never fires.

  • Do Not Track

A browser sending the Do Not Track signal is honoured here. With DNT switched on, analytics cookies are never dropped.

4. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services which may set their own cookies:

Google Analytics

Website usage analytics

Optional

Stripe

Payment processing and fraud prevention

Required

PayPal

Alternative payment processing

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing their policies for full details of the cookies they set.

5. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we add or remove third-party services or as laws change. The most current version will always be available at vivimate.io/cookies. Material changes will be communicated via our cookie consent banner so you can update your preferences.
